Repainting with New Color Scheme
Thinking of repainting your residence?
If you are interested in selecting a new color scheme for your home, please email Ms. Krysten Furukawa at krysten@wca-ohana.org. Your email should include a front-facing photo of your home that clearly shows the current color scheme and roof color. Ms. Furukawa will forward your photo and your preferred new color scheme to the Modifications Committee for review and approval.
Please note: Homeowners may not select a color scheme that is already in use or reserved by their adjacent neighbors.
Pre-approved Vendor Application Process
An expedited process is available to homeowners who elect to obtain paint from our pre-approved vendor (Sherwin Williams for existing color schemes and Pittsburgh Paints for the 18-newly approved color schemes). Paint codes from our pre-approved vendor have been reviewed and granted a blanket approval by the Modifications Committee. Owners wishing to utilize the pre-approved vendor paints must complete a Pre-Approved Permit for Exterior Repainting application and return to the WCA office. A permit will be immediately issued to the homeowner upon receipt of the application.
General Modification Application Process
With this method, you may elect to purchase paint from a vendor of your choice. Simply fill out an Application for Approval of Modifications, Additions and Improvements and submit 2″x2″ paint samples along with the application. Samples will be matched to color swatches on file at the WCA office. Please note that this method may lengthen permit processing time, as samples must be reviewed and approved by the General Manager.
