Terry Reis is a seasoned technology and media professional with more than four decades
of experience spanning information technology, broadcast production, and live event streaming.
As the founder of Surf Shooter Hawaii and Livestream Hawaii, he combines deep technical
expertise with artistic vision to deliver world-class photography, videography and live broadcast
solutions for sports, corporate, and special events across the Hawaiian Islands.
A 20-year U.S. Navy Veteran, Terry served in Naval Intelligence, where he developed a
disciplined approach to data collection, analysis, communications, and operational security skills
that continue to inform his precision and reliability in commercial production work today.
Holding both an FCC Amateur Radio Extra Class and an FAA Remote Pilot (UAS) Drone
License, Terry operates at the forefront of communications and aerial imaging technology. His expertise enables him to safely and creatively capture complex aerial and remote live
productions, integrating multi-camera systems and real-time network solutions.
With over 20 years of professional photography and videography experience and 15 years
specializing in livestream production, Terry has produced high-definition live broadcasts for
sports, corporate conferences, concerts, and community events. His technical foundation built
on 40 years in IT includes advanced proficiency with Linux/Unix systems, VMware virtualization,
and Cisco networking. This rare blend of media artistry and network engineering ensures that
every production runs smoothly from both a creative and technical standpoint.

dependable, and visually stunning productions that showcase Hawaii’s dynamic environments
and vibrant events to global audiences.
