We wanted to keep you informed about an upcoming infrastructure project that will affect areas near our beloved community. Castle & Cooke Homes Hawaii has notified us about the construction of a new sewer line for the Koa Ridge development, and we know many of you have questions about what this means for our neighborhood.
What’s Happening?
Starting in July 2025, Royal Contracting Co., Ltd. will begin construction on the “Koa Ridge Offsite Sewer Line A” – a polymer pipe sewer system that will run through several areas around our community.
The construction route includes:

Near Celebrations at Waikele -
Adjacent to Parkglen Subdivision -
Around Waikele Elementary School -
Past Grace Bible Church Leeward -
Through portions of Savio Bluffs Venture -
Adjacent to Tropics at Waikele Phase 2 -
Ending at Central Oahu Regional Park
Good news: The project is expected to wrap up by December 2026, so while it’s a significant undertaking, there’s a clear end date in sight.
Construction Hours & What to Expect
Crews will be working:

Monday–Saturday
7:00 AM – 5:30 PM -
No work on GCA observed holidays

Peaceful Sundays respected (no work)
