Severe Weather & Flooding Threat – Waipahu & Central Oʻahu

Summary
A strong, slow‑moving weather system will bring multiple days of heavy rain, with the highest impacts expected Tuesday through Friday. The National Weather Service reports heavy rain, breezy conditions, and potential flooding, especially during overnight and early‑morning hours. A Coastal Flood Statement also remains in effect for vulnerable low‑lying coastal areas.

Residents should expect hazardous driving conditions, ponding on roadways, and possible drainage overflow in known trouble spots.

Please stay alert and prepare for the unexpected.
